I finally got around to mounting the tengai fairing a little more secure than the PO had. Here are the pictures that I took to list the bike for sale...

Parts Bike is now a runner
This morning, I borrowed the shift lever from my main bike and installed it on the parts bike. With a good shift lever, the bike seemed to shift through all of the gears (while wiggling the rear wheel a bit). I drained the fuel from the gas tank and carb, added fresh fuel, installed the ignition switch and battery said a prayer and gave it a crank.
It started up and idled nicely! After warning it up with the choke partially-on, i went for a ride. This bike is noticeably faster than my other one. Pops on deceleration, most likely because it was not rejetted for the different muffler. I wasn't sure if i wanted to trade mufflers, until i ride this bike today. Now is a no-brainer!
Just purchased another IMS shift lever from Amazon, to install on my main bike |

Drove to Milwaukee to purchase a 'Parts bike'
The Craigslist ad listed this bike, an '01, without any mention of the title. There were no pictures in the ad, and I emailed the owner asking about the title. He replied, that it had a title so I asked for a picture. When he sent me a picture, I was surprised to see that the bike had a tengai fairing, and I wanted it.
